We Stand With Wildlife Carers
Supporting the people who care for wildlife — especially those who feel unheard, overwhelmed, and/or treated unfairly.
Reclaim WIRES began as a group of dedicated volunteers who stood up to protect the core mission of wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. Today, that purpose has expanded: this is now a home for anyone in the wildlife care community who needs support, connection, and a united voice.
No one doing this work should feel alone.
We believe in supporting volunteers with education rather than reprimand.
We value the experience of our carers and veterinarians.
By standing together, we can make a difference for wildlife and the people who rescue and care for them.
We are a community of people who share a simple belief: Wildlife care should be grounded in compassion, transparency, and collaboration.
